That’s right, Google! I don’t know about anyone else but $400 is a damn good price for that device. Can’t wait for the hands on articles!

The only thing that would have made it better? For it to be priced at $329 and the guarantee that they would price match the incredibly inferior iPad Mini. ;-)

      • Matt Beaulne

The nexus 7 is 199! That pad is much better than the mini. This is in the market with the iPad. That being said, I would have also liked a lower price, just cuz.

    • veracu

yup, i’m amazed they are so affordable.

    • stenzor

Holy shit, Google killed it with this launch. Check and mate.

I can’t believe all the good news being announced today! Google means some serious shit with these Nexii!!

    I’ll take 3!

    iPad mini: 330$
    Nexus 10: 400$

I could not stand this horrendous Nexus design, fugly bezel and overall cheap plastics look.
iPad mini will dominate Nexus in sales, like always……

      • Joe Mamma

So says the guy named “About time for a white president”.

      • About Time for Racism to End

How will it dominate ‘like always’ when the iPad Mini was just released last week? From the structure of your comment and the ignorance of your username, I can safely assume you didn’t finish the 3rd grade and eat possum stew somewhere out in the middle of an abandoned cabin you found.

Who cares about sales as a consumer. At the end of the day the device from Google is better. iPad Mini is nothing different.

  • Mix

This is a sick price to launch!

I am not sure which one I want as I kind of like the 7″ form factor and portability…I must drink myself into a stupor and think it over!

  • acey_zero

Ouch, $100 is a lot of money for 16GB more… Both versions are a good deal compared to anything else though if you can live with the limited storage.

  • aranea

Yeah another bullet to apple at these prices. I’m going to pre-order 16gb N4 and 32gb N10 when they are available.

  • jamal adam

It’s come to the point that Google has no competition because all of these Nexii are just so damn affordable. The Nexus 10 for $399 puts the iPad mini on a chopping block and leaves the iPad 4 in the ice age. The Nexus 7 has no competition and the Nexus 4 at $299 is just…..PHENOMENAL!!

  • kilmas

    i want one now

Thanks for your stupid link! It forced me to reboot this page and be able down vote that other stupid iPad poster again.

If you can’t contribute just bugger off.

      Back on topic…

I certainly am wary about pre ordering as Google screwed those of us who pre ordered the N7. Especially here in Oz when it was released in retailers about the same time as ours came but $20 cheaper.

      Oh and @ $299 + delivery for the 16GB N7

I will definitely wait this time.

  • Wesley

I want the Nexus 10! I can’t wait to order it! I’ll keep my Galaxy Nexus since I don’t really need a big power boost in my phone but I have been wanting a 10 inch tablet for a while. Being a Nexus tablet makes it even better.

    • Lucas

In the exact same boat. Stoked!

  • inviolable

Really can’t believe the pricing on these new devices. I only hope they’re not sold out for too long.

  • Marcus

Is it possible to plug-in external HDD’s in to nexus devices ?

  • APG

No Nexus 10 for the Netherlands! Say what?!?!
    Yep you heard me.

This is extremely sad when I heard the bad news.
    Well that doesn’t matter.
I’ll plan a trip to the UK or Germany and will buy it there.

    399 Dollar = 309,35 Euro for the 16gb version.
    499 Dollar = 386,88 Euro for the 32gb version.

For 77,53 you can buy the 32gb. SO why not!

    • Herman483

sorry, but the EUR prices will be €399 and €499.

  • Nathan D.

This is honestly the best price I seen for a tablet of this class.

  • ionorov

Great specs and great price… but I worry about all that unused black space (for the onscreen buttons) at the bottom + the additional notification bar up top.

In landscape mode, that is just a spectacular waste of screen real estate. :/

  • adonet

Why aren’t these cool nexus machine not sold in the Netherlands. Our money is just as good as German of UK money.

  • Idefix

It looks like a really nice tablet. Sadly I live in the Netherlands and can’t order this tablet. Hopefully it will be available in stores in Germany or the UK so they can send this wonderfull piece to us.

  • parthpatels007

    3G version please google :)

  • tylerfoy

Very nice price point for this tablet! Would have liked to see it with a quad-core tegra 3, but otherwise thumbs up!

  • friendlyfire

I hope they don’t wait to long to get out some accessories for the nexus 10. Pogo pin dock?

  • colino17

seems like an awesome price for the specs..too bad it has no SD tho

Google will sell much more of these tablets in the Netherlands than in a broke country like Spain, no doubt abt that.Launch it in Belgium + Netherlands (population 27 million) + Scandinavia (ca 25 million) it makes more sense then trying to sell it to 47 m. spaniards that don’t have a dime to spend.

  • sbala

I want this at any way
