Unlike normal tower defense games, in Air Patriots your weaponry is all mobile, allowing you to change up tactics on the fly and move your “towers” to where they’re needed most!

Notes: From Amazon Game Studios. Free version includes 3 maps that are free in-game (12 levels). All additional maps (present and future) can be purchased in the Map Pack for $1.99.

4. Tiny Troopers

Description: Size doesn’t matter to these miniature men of war as they take on a big enemy. Take control of a petite platoon of crack soldiers in a variety of wee warzones as you battle through an epic third-person-shooter campaign. Military-grade strategy, intense shooter action, outstanding 3D visuals and a wry smile make Tiny Troopers an unmissable combination of manic combat, monumental mirth and miniature marines.

Notes: Early reviews report game lag on certain devices.

Curiosity is just that. It looks awesome. Sounds like a brilliant concept, but the reviews on Play are terrible just because of the servers. Anyone here actually play it? I want to give it a try but I still have no idea what its about.

Angry Birds Star Wars is a fun game, in my opinion. After taking not-to-stellar detours with Amazing Alex and Bad Piggies, Rovio is back to basics with another great Angry Birds installment. I’m only through the first section, Tatooine, and I’m having lots of fun with it. You get a force-push-using bird, storm trooper pigs with blasters, and in the bonus level you get two other unique birds in an Angry Birds Space level.

If you like Angry Birds, and you like Star Wars, definitely give Angry Birds Star Wars a try.

Don’t see all the hype about Angry Birds. I gave it a try and to me its meh compared to other games I have in my library.

Tiny Trooper is interesting, the controls takes some getting used to.
