Android Rookies: 10 new apps worth checking out this week

New apps need lovin’ too, right? Every day there are thousands of new entries on the Google Play store, but many go unnoticed and never receive the attention they deserve. We have shown in the past that this community can discover great apps and launch them to new heights, so we’re bringing back our weekly column Android Rookies that highlights new apps with less than 100k installs. Browse our new Android app picks below and let us know which ones you enjoy.

A nice list of apps, though a shame that some of the final few don’t work in the UK. It would be really neat to have services like that here.

I’m going to give Vybe a shot when I’m off work. Seems pretty cool.

I’ve been using credit karma for a couple weeks already and I like it. I’m going to give Shpock a try.

Vybe and Silence are definitely getting a download. Both seem like very useful apps.

Those are the same two I gravitated to, also. Boring but practical. ;^)

Spy your love!!! That funny! What ever happened to good old fashioned trust!

If you need this app you should not be in that relationship.

    • renyo

I agree! Spy your love seems like a creepy app… How would you even tell your partner to install it?!

    • cthonctic

That’s what I thought as well. Very sad and kind of disgusting that this app exists and there might be a demand for the service. At the point where you need this, it’s either too late for a relationship or you’re in for a bad surprise if your spouse asks you to get it.
Should probably be renamed to Overly Attached Girlfriend – The App.

  • James

One of you all clearly don’t have any faith in your partner to always have cheating software up. Geez.

    • donger

      Creepy app. I agreed.
