HTC One mini User Agent Profile confirms name, 720p display, Android 4.2

HTC has posted a new UAProf (User Agent Profile) file which confirms a few details regarding the upcoming HTC One mini. The file refers to the device as the “HTC One mini” and lists a 1280×720 display resolution along with a reference to Android 4.2. UAProf files are used to describes the capabilities of a device, including manufacturer details, model name or number, display resolution and multimedia capabilities.

It’s unclear how long the UAProf has been published, but it’s always reassuring to see official information from HTC which aligns perfectly with the leaks we have seen over the past few months. HTC One mini rumors suggest the device will be made available during the third quarter of this year, but we still no clue if it will be launching on any service providers here in the US.

And HTC continues to mop up the competition.

HTC is clearly in the right track. The mini is looking like a great smartphone for those who prefer a smaller screen and the rumors of the One max (phablet) for those that want an even bigger screen than the One. I truly feel that HTC is moving up once again.

Are you doing your part to make sure HTC is moving back up. They can make great devices, but they company will only succeed if people actually purchase these phones. I’ve influenced the purchase of nearly two dozen HTC Ones since launch. Going I get that number up to fifty by the end of summer.

Nice, a lower tear version of the one would be awesome for low budget people.
