I think it actually looks pretty cool. Thumbs up to them.

And now we all wait for the much anticipated phone from Motorola … uh huh you know it … :)

X PHONE …(or phones depending on how many) :D

I am not expecting much from it .. All I want is the stock vanilla UI with timely OS updates straight from Google :)

After the moto RAZR , this might be the 1st phone that I consider buying … Love you Motorola ..
    Welcome back :)

      >> stock vanilla UI

I think we will get that, but the phone probably won’t be entirely stock. The features of MotoX that Motorola had talked about doesn’t sound like app level only customizations. But I am ok with that — people don’t mind custom ROMs such as CM: those ROMs aren’t entirely stock neither.

I’m gonna get a wheelchair for my X Phone and address it as Professor.

I am more interested in the Motorola’s X Phone than its new logo (it’s nice logo, by the way).
So, come on Motorola, hurry up on the X Phone.

  • Arthur

Very nice logo, love the Google-esque typography direction they took with it. If the earlier leaks of the X-phone that look very similar to the N4 are accurate than that is the phone I want regardless of the Mid-range-ish specs that are rumored.

Stock Android + Monster removable battery + Ample int storage and SD card slot + Powerful Qualcomm 600/800 + 13MP cam + 4.7/5.0″ HD screen = WINNER (Moto X)

    • Arthur

This might be something we could see from Motorola by year’s end but I don’t think this initial phone will have flagship status specs. Plus Google usually reserves their best hardware for the Nexus devices, traditionally speaking, I doubt they will put out a Motorola that overshadows a Nexus device.

      • lou2cool88

I’m not entirely sure that’s true considering the Google Edition One and S4 that just came out. Those arguably are overshadowing the Nexus line. Either way, though. I’m excited to see what’s coming!

I still don’t think the X phone will be major. I think the major part will come later down the line. I think it’ll be an introduction to something more.

    Definitely an upgrade.

  • Andre

I realize this is just a new logo but it made me that much more excited for the X!!!

  • Co1e

I’m loving all this x phone news! Keep up the good work!

  • jamal adam

Google influenced design looks very nice. They are heading into a good direction. Simplicity at its finest.

  • one80oneday

Why confuse people with so many names? Motorola, Google, Nexus, etc…

  • Ryan O’Neill

That logo looks just like the one on the X phone (top left above the screen).

    • Behdad

      Yeah, it seems so.

  • Behdad

There were some rumours about different colors of Moto X will be out.

On the logo, there are 12 colors, can this lead to a conclusion?!

I mean, maybe there will be 12 colors of Moto X or any other smartphone?

  • Happy Gilmore

Looks bad, reminds me of ku-kux-clan imho…

  • Bayu AB

I felt that the new logo was designed by sir jony ive . IMHO
