HTC One Max, HTC One mini confirmed by O2 Germany document

A newly leaked O2 Germany document is the first piece of evidence from a service provider confirming that the HTC One mini and HTC One Max are indeed real. The document lists a silver HTC One Max, and the HTC One mini is listed in both silver and black. The O2 document does not contain any details regarding the launch dates for the HTC One Max or HTC One mini, but multiple rumors suggest that the two phones will be available sometime during the third quarter.

o2_article_list_nokia_one_mini_one_max_nokia_eros_mars_mobiflipHTC One Max (aka the HTC T6) is said to feature a 5.9-inch 1920 x 1080 pixel display with a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 clocked at 2.3 GHz, 3300 mAh battery and the same UltraPixel camera and BoomSound experience as the HTC One. An early sketch of the phone claimed the device would measure 140.4mm in length with the thickness of 9.4mm. HTC One mini is expected to run Android 4.2.2 with a 1.4GHz dual-core processor, 4.3-inch 720p display, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage and an Ultrapixel camera capable of shooting HTC Zoes and capturing full HD video. Both the HTC One mini and HTC One Max are expected to feature the same zero-gap aluminum construction as the HTC One.

While the HTC One mini will be going head-to-head with the Samsung Galaxy S4 mini in the mid-range segment, the HTC One Max is poised to take on the Sony Xperia Z UltraSamsung Galaxy Note 3 and other devices looking to bridge smartphone-tablet gap.

If given the choice to buy the HTC One, HTC One mini or HTC One Max, which would you choose?

If they increase the ultra pixel count and it has the rumored sd card, I will definitely get the Max. I was pretty sure that I was going to get the Note 3, but since it looks like it is not going to have front facing speakers, I will look elsewhere. After listening to media on the Nexus 10 and the HTC One, my dislike of rear facing speakers has overtaken my dislike of removable batteries.

      … non-removeable batteries

I totally agree about dual front speakers, bro. I can’t believe more people aren’t clamoring for this feature. For me, it’s an absolute must. The Sony Honami is rumored to have front speakers, but its display will only be 5″. (I’d prefer a bigger display) But guys like us don’t have very many options. although I simply refuse to buy another phone with a crappy single, rear-facing speaker.

After really trying the S4 and HTC One I too cannot see myself going back to a rear speaker phone again.I love the screen size on the S4, but the One’s stereo speakers sound amazing- although I did take it back because I ordered the Google version instead. The thought of having a phone that may only receive one or two updates from AT&T just didn’t sit well with me if I was going to spend $300 on an upgrade. I’d rather sell my Nexus 4 to make up the cost.

but I would get the max obviously

If the battery is not removable it’s not that big of a deal as long as the battery lasts all day with normal with use.

    • RealAndroidPlease

      I’d get the Max obviously.

An unlocked, Google Edition Max would be awesome!

I really don’t get this companies coming out with mini and max versions nobody really cares about or will buy!!! How about a galaxy s 4 or htc one with awesome battery life and fast charge??? I have to charge my S4 2 times a day really??? And htc one takes for ever to charge!!
Maybe it’s just me wanting awesome battery life …

    • deucezulu22

Really? My HTC One charges fast for me.

      • pradamir

        Mines charges fast to

    • Doppio

The bigger the battery, the slower it will charge. You cannot have the same phone with both faster charging and longer lasting battery than the basic version.

With the advancement in CPU lithography, we eventually get faster CPUs with lower energy requirements — however they usually find place in a new model of the phone.

    definitely…….. The”MAX”….

  • pradamir

I would buy the HTC One Max as soon as it comes out those dual speakers with a 3300 mah battery and a 5.9 inch screen would be beautiful.

  • Doppio

The Mini looks great. People can no longer complain that there are no capable Android phones with smaller screens.
