LG G2 press shots leak out ahead of official announcement

The LG G2 just can’t resist showing itself off to all of the Interwebs. One of the leakiest devices to date, the LG G2 has decided to reveal itself one last time before its official announcement tomorrow. In our latest peek at the device, we get to see coveted press shots in all their high-res glory. In short, the LG G2 is a sexy phone that’s also a complete beast when it comes to specs.

Almost everything else about the G2 is already known, so there’s really not even a need to speculate anymore. But just for good measure, the LG G2 is expected to feature a quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB RAM, 5.2-inch 1080p display, 13-megapixel camera and a rear volume rocker.

What are your feelings on LG’s G2?

Ooo! They got rid of the shiny back cover. I am once again intrigued!

I think it’s still shiny. Hard to tell from a rebdar then it is in real life.

      • thekaz

you’re right, but it seems more like the back of my GNex. In earlier pics it was glossy, like the old iPhone.

If I’ve learned anything from all the Moto X reviews is that specs are not the end all, be all. Interested to see what this will offer beyond the latest hardware to set it apart from the rest.

That’s how every phone should be looked at. At the end of the day they all do pretty much the same thing and what has the biggest impact on any user is how the phone works with its software and features. Otherwise it’s a potential with no fundamentals.

If this is what the N5 is based off i hope the volume rocker isn’t on the back

    • TheBadWolf79

Well, I’m trying to be open minded about the volume rocker on the back. It’s certainly different, but without holding it and seeing how it feels and works, the jury is out. That said, I won’t get the G2 but would be thrilled to see the N5 be built from this guy and am holding out for october.

Look at those side bezels, great use of all that real estate. This looks like a really nice phone.

The volume rocker is bullshit, but the specs are good.

    • Youaretrash

Whats wrong with the volume on the back? I rather it be on the back and you never used it but you still have to make a bullshit negative ignorant comment

  • Tico4674

Looks great but I still remember the train wreck that was G2X. It is possible that LG has gotten their act together so I’ll just wait and see.

    • Youaretrash

Really? Do you remember the Optimus G, G Pro and Nexus 4? Remember those? 3 of the best phones ever made but you feel the need to mention a 3 year old phone lol

I wonder how many people besides myself won’t buy this because the volume rocker is on the back. Nearly 90% of the time I’m listening to music on my phome is while I’m running; with my phone in an armband. With the volume rocker on the back of a phone I wouldn’t be able to change the volume while I’m running. Seems trivial, but with so many other 5″ 1080p phones out, the G2 is not worth buying just for the rear volume rocker.

    • Youaretrash

Im considering buying it because the volume buttons are on the back. I think more people are like me than the. 00000000001 percent of people who use a 5.2 inch phone on an armband lmao

  • donger

    Looks good.

Lg g2 is a sweet looking and from the sounds of it pretty bad 800 snapdragon unreal. Buttons on the back back that cool.

  • Diabsoud

I like the design…Android will rock as usual…Screen real estate is nice…it’s either this, Oppo or the new Nexus phone Google will release… Leaning to this one so far…

  • uknowme

Looks pretty sexy to me. I’m just wondering how far that volume rocker protrudes. Only reason is I am in commercial HVAC and a lot of times I am in very small confined spaces. I wear my phones on my hip. I wouldn’t want to damage it.
