Verizon Galaxy Note 3 now available, coupon code saves you $90

If you’ve been waiting for the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 on Verizon Wireless, the device has finally been released! Unfortunately, the Galaxy Note series of devices have always launched at a somewhat ridiculous price of $299.99 on contract. And this is across all carriers, not just Verizon. However, Verizon offers a coupon code that can save you some big money.

If you use the code “VERIZON30″ when buying the device, you’ll save 30% or $90. You’ll end up paying only $209 for the device, plus all taxes and fees, of course. But that’s quite a big discount for a brand new phone that was just released.

With the Galaxy Note 3, you’ll be getting a 5.7-inch full HD Super AMOLED display, a 2.3GHz quad core Snapdragon 800 processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage with a microSD slot, 13MP camera with smart stabilization and a 3,200 mAh battery. It’s as cutting edge as you can get, and the addition of the S Pen makes the device even more useful.

If you’re interested in picking one of these devices up, you can do so in stores or online. And if you’re still on the fence, wait for our first impressions of the Galaxy Note 3 that will be posted tomorrow!

After using one at a Samsung Event a couple days ago. I really want one. It doesn’t feel as big as it is, and the faux leather back isn’t that bad. And seems to provide a little grip. The phone doesn’t feel that unwieldy. Unfortunately I don’t want to give up my unlimited data with Verizon, so I have to buy my phones outright. Last month I used over 35 gigs.

I was told so I don’t lose my unlimited data I could open a new line get the note 3 the new line wait two and cancel that data page line and switch the number over to the note 3. Its crazy you will be paying 9.99 a month on a line u don’t use but u get the phone on the new contract deal then paying full price. Since I can’tdo the new line I have to pay the full 700 bucks. This is just a option.

      • BigMotor

I did that when I purchased my note 3 and I’m still paying much more than 9.95 a month.I’m paying 29.95+ for a line that I never use. My total bill is like 155.00 a month….

I’d think they’d have figured out ways people try to Game the system. At the numbers you state, that’s as much or more than buying a phone outright

What are you doing on your phone to use that much data? I would never watch movies on a tiny screen. Then again I’m. Not constantly uploading things to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter & the like. Only thing I could think of is streaming music all day every day without wifi. I. Just can’t comprehend people who say they use that much data.. Are you never on wifi? I’m. Just curious what r u using the phone for

I use maybe 20+ gb a month too but that’s because I always have my tethering on when I’m not home. my kids both have tablets and they’re constantly watching netflix when we’re driving. at work, gmusic is always on etc etc. it’s not hard to go over 20gb a month

The discount code doesn’t apply if you are on Verizon edge. I’ll hit my upgrade date in 20 days, so I’ll just upgrade then…..

  • james

I called Verizon direct and also tried on the site and chatted customer service.. There wasn’t a single way I could get that code.too work.. If someone figured it out please let me know..

Cause right now I’m thinking its total bs!

  • Jim

Yeah, this doesn’t work, I tried for hours today online, and verizon denies any knowledge of it saying it is not thier code

    • James

I am thinking about calling and asking to speak with the retention department about possibly cancelling my account.. Along with missing this I missed renewing the unlimited data..

I’m just tired if getting screwed by them..

I’ll see what they will do for me.. If not I will think about another carrier.

I used this code on the Verizon website on Saturday. Worked perfectly for me!

    • Hi Ben, We tried the code on Sunday and it didn’t work. Verizon said it was a mistake

Hi Ben, We tried the code on Sunday and it didn’t work. Verizon said it was a mistake and that it had been cancelled.(Although the retention dept. said it should work?). What part of the US are you in? Any helpful hints?

  • donger

    Happy for the Verizon folks.
