HTC One KitKat, Sense 5.5 update released for Western Europe

The HTC One Android 4.4.2 update which has been making the rounds in North America is now available in Western Europe. We’ve heard from dozens of users in France, Switzerland, the Netherlands, the UK (unlocked, Vodafone, O2, Three), Greece, Cyprus and Spain who have been able to install the Android 4.4.2 update on unlocked and carrier branded devices.

The KitKat update for the HTC One delivers HTC’s Sense 5.5 overlay with improvements to BlinkFeed, Video Highlights, the gallery app and keyboard (be sure to check out the built-in emoji), as well as security enhancements, Cloud Print Service support, NFC Tap-to-Pay and more Bluetooth profiles for additional media interactions. If you have not yet seen the update notification on your device, go to Settings > System updates > HTC software update > Check now to trigger it manually.

What’s your favorite new Android 4.4.2 feature on the HTC One?

WHAT….. A dissappointment. The Galaxy S5. What a painfull phone. Does Samsung have no imagination. Will be leaving my iphone behind but now it is down to the HTC 1 and the LG G3. Samsung has made that decision very easy.
