UPDATE: Google Glass store open to everyone again

Miss out on that one-day Google Glass sale earlier this month? Well today’s your lucky day, friend, because Google’s headwear is once again available for anyone to purchase.

The Google Glass store is once again allowing anyone to waltz in and drop $1500 on the wearable device. Consumers can choose between Charcoal, Tangerine, Cotton, Shale and Sky color options for their Glass, and each unit comes with a cable, charger, mono earbud and pouch. Buyers will also get a free shade or frame to attach their Glass to.

Google hasn’t made any announcements about another limited time Glass sale or a full public launch, so it’s not yet clear exactly what’s going on here. All that matters is Glass is once again available to all, so if you’ve been itching to hand over $1500 to become an Explorer, you’d best head on over to the Google Glass store and punch in those credit card digits.

Update: It looks like Google Glass wasn’t available to buy after all. The link is one Google forgot to disable after the initial open sale on the 15th, and those who would try to buy it using that link after the 15th wouldn’t be able to get Glass anyway. Sorry about that!

This link was created to accommodate potential Explorers who were still in the pipeline from last week's sale. We're shutting it down shortly. As always, we will continue to experiment with ways to expand the Explorer program in the weeks and months ahead.Google

I’m sure a MORE scientific test of how many idiots are born a minute is possible, but this Google Glass product at this price comes close in scientific validity.

how can people be so dumb to the point that they are willing to pay $1500 for a glass which has an hardware that cost 10 times less, i honestly don’t get it… it’s like when the judge awarded apple with 2 billion from damages caused by samsung, from damages of what? I’m an apple user, i have a macbook, an iPhone and an iPad, however i only have those because i’ve tried every other hardware, but none seemed to be of my like and i do think the price is crazy, but not as crazy as $1500 for a pair of glasses like those? it’s like apple pricing it’s unreleased iwatch at $700 onwards… are you kidding me?
