Google Play Store hosting Star Wars sale for May 4th

Google Play Store Star Wars sale

If you’re a fan of Star Wars (or visit social media at all), you know the significance of May 4th. May 4th is Star Wars day, and to celebrate, Google has put up a new page on the Play Store with some sales on Star Wars related apps, games, and books. Unfortunately, the movies are notably absent from this sale, and from Google Play in general.

In the sale, you’ll find apps like Angry Birds Star Wars (still a solid game despite the fad ending), Star Wars Pinball 3, Star Wars Assault Team, and more. Then there are a bunch of novels on sale, though they have now become non-canon thanks to the recent change in what is considered Star Wars canon. Still, it doesn’t detract from the books.

If you’re interested in getting any of these apps or books, hit the source link to head to the Play Store sale page. Tell us what you get and what interests you in the comments!

I’ve never read a Star Wars book but I don’t think they were ever officially accepted as canon.

The in-game purchase prices in Star Wars Team Assault and Star Wars Tiny Death Star appear not to be discounted as advertised. Example 40 gems are still $9.99
