Google Camera update brings timer and more


Know what day it is, Android fans? That’s right, it’s Wednesday, which means that it’s also time for Google to issue an update or two.

Google is now rolling out an update to its Google Camera app. The update bumps the app up to version 2.2.024 and includes a few notable features. Those include a timer that can be set to 3 or 10 seconds, the option of capturing photos in 4:3 or 16:9 aspect ratio and some new panorama modes.

This may not be the biggest app update that we’ve ever seen, but I can’t complain about getting a few new features as part of an update, and I’m sure that most of you feel the same way. The Google Camera app can be snagged from the Play Store using the widget below.
