LG G Pad tablet family gains a trio of new members

LG is expected to take the wraps off of its new flagship smartphone, the G3later this month. Before it does, though, the company’s got a few new Android tablets to introduce us to.

LG just officially announced three new tablets that are a part of the G Pad family. Dubbed the G Pad 7.0, G Pad 8.0 and G Pad 10.1, the devices come in three different screen sizes. Spec details on the three slates are still light, but LG does say that they include several of its unique software features, like QPair 2.0 for receiving notifications and calls from a paired smartphone and Knock Code, LG’s new security feature.

The trio of new G Pads look somewhat similar to the original G Pad 8.3, featuring rounded corners and curved tops and bottoms. It’s tough to say too much about these new slates since we’re still in the dark about their specs, but because the G Pad 8.3 was received fairly well, I’m looking forward to learning more about the newest members of the G Pad family. LG says that more details will be announced “in the weeks ahead.”

Wasn’t the Gpad 8.3 slated for too high a price for its specification?

    I guess wait for pricing.
