Samsung SM-G906S features WQHD display and Snapdragon 805 according to pricing database

Samsung SM-G906S specs

Rumors of the Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime just won’t calm down. Even though Samsung said that there will not be a more powerful model of the Galaxy S5, we constantly see more and more info supporting the contrary. And it’s possible a more powerful device will launch under a name other than Galaxy S5, but we can’t wait to see if Samsung really is going to offer something beefier.

The latest information comes from a pricing database in Hong Kong, showing us the specifications for a device called the SM-G906S. This model number has been mentioned in rumors before, so it’s nothing new. But the specs sure made us excited. It will feature a 5.1-inch WQHD (2560×1440) AMOLED display, a Snapdragon 805 processor, 3GB of RAM, a 16MP camera, and the unreleased Android 4.4.3.

The device is listed as the “Samsung Galaxy S5 LTE-A.” The last time an LTE-A variant of a Galaxy S device came out, it was exclusive to South Korea for quite a while, and was never released in large quantities. Hopefully this won’t be the case this time, as we would love to get our hands on one later this year. Would you take an extra powerful Galaxy S5?

Wonder if they will have a new touchwiz as well? Would be interesting to see if the lag remains with these top of the line specs.
