Samsung ‘Tab Into Color’ event official, new Galaxy tablets likely inbound

Less than 24 hours after teasing an upcoming tablet event, Samsung today formally announced its upcoming Galaxy gathering.

Samsung Mobile just shared the image you see above, inviting us all to take part in its “Tab Into Color” Samsung Galaxy Premiere 2014 event. The shindig will take place on June 12 at 7:00 p.m. EDT in New York. Those of us that can’t make it to NYC for the live show can tune in to the livestream at

While Samsung hasn’t come out and said exactly what it has planned for its June 12 show, the invitation includes quite a few hints as to what’s on tap. The “Galaxy” and “Tab” references suggest that we’ll see some new Android-powered tablets, while the colors could be a hint at AMOLED displays, which are known for showing bright and saturated colors.

Taken altogether, these hints could point toward an announcement of the Galaxy Tab S devices that recently leaked. The rumor mill suggests that they’ll be 8.4-inch and 10.5-inch Android tablets with high-res 2560×1600 AMOLED screens.

Nice, as there are currently only 2 good HD tablets you can buy Nexus 10 32gb (the best by price) & the Note 10.1 32gb 2014 I dont get buying a 16gb tablet, even if it did have a sd card slot, it still gets full within a few months. 32gb or 64gb version please.

But Samsung PLEASE only use the Galaxy brand for your high end devices like the Tablet & phablet Note’s & S5, using Galaxy on everything including the kitchen sink, is CHEAPENING the Galaxy brand & confusing the less knowledgeable buyer.
