Samsung Galaxy F caught in photo, metal back and tiny bezels in view

Samsung Galaxy F leak

Every day we see more and more evidence that the Samsung Galaxy F is a real thing. Said to be a higher-end version of the Galaxy S5 smartphone we have today, the Galaxy F reportedly features a metal back and some upgraded specs that include a QHD display, a Snapdragon 805 processor and a 16-megapixel camera with optical image stabilization. Today, we get to see our first clear photo of the device.

While the front of the Galaxy F looks almost the same as the Galaxy S5, the angle of the light betrays the changes. The bezels are absolutely tiny, like they should have been on the Galaxy S5. It looks like the display size was bumped up to 5.3-inches to get rid of those unsightly bezels. Also, the back looks like brushed aluminum.

After using the Galaxy S5 for a while, I’m actually excited for an improved experience. If the Galaxy F could pull off what the Galaxy S5 failed to, I think smartphone enthusiasts will be pleased. Plus, no one can complain about better specs and build quality. What are your thoughts on this new photo? Leave a comment!

A Google Play edition of this? Mmm, please and thank you.

Please stop interchangeably using build quality and build material. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with the build quality of the S5. It’s a solidly built phone. You can dislike the build material, it’s a very subjective matter, but claiming it’s not well built, as your choice of wording suggests, would indicate a serious cognitive dissonance. I own an M7/M8, Z2, N5, and S5. Each is very well built. The M7/8 and Z2 are built of what people call premium materials but that in and of itself doesn’t make them better built.

I’m basically implying people associate Samsung with subpar build quality. Which is true, though the claim isn’t. I think Samsung builds VERY solid phones, and I really enjoyed the build quality of the Galaxy S5. However, people often don’t enjoy it. But you have a good point, build material does not equal build quality.

It looks exactly the same as the S5 minus the band aid back.

I’m loving it,since I first of the Prime I held off from purchasing the s4 and s5. Hopefully I won’t have to wait much longer, getting tired of my cracked screen on my s3.👍

Really hope this is a great update to the S5. My Galaxy S2 crapped out on me and I’m using my iPhone 3GS… Can’t believe how slow and useless it is. Really need a new phone and can’t wait until the S6 or new Note (I don’t think…)
