Samsung Galaxy S5 LTE-A display offers significant accuracy improvement over Galaxy S5

The Samsung Galaxy S5 display is considered one of the best by many, professionals included. The 5.1-inch, full HD Super AMOLED display is simply gorgeous with beautiful colors and fantastic daylight visibility. It’s a pleasure to use. However, it seems that Samsung has already one-upped it.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 LTE-A was exclusively released in South Korea and features a 5.1-inch WQHD Super AMOLED display, already besting the Galaxy S5 display in terms of raw specs. A higher resolution doesn’t necessarily mean it’s a better display, but thanks to AnandTech and their fantastic measurements, we can see that Samsung really outdid itself.

As you can see from the measurements below, Samsung nailed accuracy with the Galaxy S5 LTE-A┬ádisplay. And from the photo above, the color accuracy is far better without the (usually unnoticeable) greenish tint. Hit the source link for more measurements and testing, and let’s just wait for that dang Galaxy S5 Prime/Alpha to launch.

I’m so confused, This got my hopes up a good bit. However as I waited for Erica Griffin to review the S5 LTEA she finally has…….
And as I feared her measurements show that the Prime’s screen just has a better balance and slight variation in saturation……

So are you lying or did Samsung provide you with a better calibrated screen.
If the latter…Why? At this point I’m sure Samsung can indeed calibrate more accurate colors…..So why are they only sending fully accurate displays to certain reviewers while the rest are still saturated???????
Or why are people lying about it????

I honestly have no problem with saturation. Most people in reality do not. However the point of cinema mode was to bring it to natural colors. Which is why I expect it. So when it’s supposed to bring natural colors….and then reviews say it’s perfectly color accurate…..but then it’s not….even if you like the saturation…That’s a little annoying….Then the prime comes out and the same thing happens again…Come one…WHo is telling the truth.
