Pushbullet gains Universal Copy & Paste in latest update

Heads up, Pushbullet-ers, because everyone’s favorite pushing app has been updated today with a major new feature.

The newest Pushbullet update adds Universal Copy & Paste, a feature that’s exactly what it sounds like. The Pushbullet folks explain that UC&P lets users copy a link or text from one device and paste it using another. In the video demo below, we can see a link being copied from a Chrome browser and pasted into WhatsApp on a Samsung Galaxy S 4.

To get Universal Cut & Paste working, you’ll need the newest version of Pushbullet, which can be snagged using the Play Store widget below. You’ll also need the Pushbullet Windows desktop app. Mac support is said to be coming soon.

Universal Copy & Paste sounds like a neat feature on paper, but it becomes even cooler once you see it in action. If you meet the two aforementioned requirements, you can get to copying and pasting right now!
