T-Mobile Music Freedom adds more services, Google Play Music coming later this year

After debuting in June with 6 different music services, T-Mobile’s Music Freedom is adding 6 more streaming services to its roster today.

T-Mobile says that its Music Freedom program now includes support for AccuRadio, Black Planet, Grooveshark, Radio Paradise, Rdio and Songza. What about Google Play Music, you ask? T-Mo hears you and says that support for Google’s streaming music offering is coming “later this year.”

Music Freedom lets T-Mobile Simple Choice customers stream music from any of the supported services without having it count against their monthly high-speed data allotment. It’s great to see T-Mo adding support for more services to Music Freedom, especially when its a nice mix of big names and smaller ones.

Is your streaming music service of choice supported by Music Freedom?

Now that they are adding play music I can drop my data down. 75-80% of my data is music streaming mostly from play music.
