This is what the new Moto G will look like

Want to see what the new Motorola Moto G that’s set to be unveiled on September 4 will look like? Then you’ve come to the right place.

Obtained by HelloMotoHK, as you can see in the image above the new Moto G looks like a cross between the first-gen Moto G and the Moto E. The new Moto G retains its sleek, curved body and removable back cover, but adds dual front-facing speakers. Other specs attached to the images should sound familiar. The Moto G is rumored to come with a 5-inch HD display, 8 megapixel camera, 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, support for microSD and dual-SIM compatibility in international markets.

HelloMotoHK has obtained accurate information on Motorola device in the past, so there’s a good chance this is the real deal. If it is, and Motorola is able to get the new Moto G in at under $200 again, they’ve got another hit on their hands.

That 1GB RAM is the weakest part.

Its a budget phone. Its not trying to be a flagship phone. Plus I think 1gig RAM is good especially with newer android versions getting more and more efficient. Most of the slowness of phones can be attributed to the carriers and their poor networks.

Is this from personal experience or just the fact ‘on paper’ you don’t like the specs.
Motorola and many users with the current Moto G have found the 1Gb to be sufficient. Try the phone once released or watch/read the reviews.
I have very confidence that on this budget device running near stock Android, that 1 Gb will be enough

I used a moto g solely form March till till end of August, and 1 gb was tight, I need to use ‘clean master’ to cleat the ram a few times each day.

However the 1gb on the G, was handled better than the 1.75gb on my note 2, so android is going in the right direction.

The one m8 I have at the moment had had zero issue with ram, I haven had to use a 3rd party to clear it. (sense6 and the bloat is killing me tho).

That 1 gig of Ram is plenty, I have yet to find anything to make my moto g stutter

The moto g is one of the most optimised bits of hardware around its just awesome for the price. With sd lte and a mid range camera it will Rock even more I’m trading up from my 1039 asap!

I just updated my Moto G to kitkat 4.4.4; the internet connection became slower, and the battery empty faster. Pls advise. Tks

Try draining the battery to 0%. Then give it a full recharge to 100% in shutdown mode. It will work for sure. I had the same problem. It helped me out.
