Verizon HTC One max updated to Sense 6

Verizon HTC One max users, today’s your lucky day. Available now as an over the air (OTA) update, Big Red’s HTC One max variant is finally being updated to the latest version of HTC’s good looking third-party firmware, Sense 6.0.

The update, which weighs in at 613.5MB and brings your device up to software version 3.09.605.2, includes a revamped BlinkFeed experience, several updated core apps, new font and color customizations and a handful of important bug and security fixes that should improve the performance of your device.

To see if you can grab the update now, head to Settings, followed by About and finally Software Updates on your HTC One max. If you aren’t seeing the update quite yet, fear not. Droid-Life is reporting that at least one person has already received the update. And Verizon has posted a listing detailing the changes included in the update.

Once you get the update to Sense 6, let us know how you like it in the comments below.

I’m loving it so the developer section you can max out cpu.battery drain seems normal. It seems to be cranking g on 4g. Phone callls still clear no problems yet.

Was awake when I got the notification, I was like yeeeessssss…. my phone runs a lot faster and the calibration on my touch screen is so much better was about time Verizon authorized the release. now I don’t have to wait anymore

After the update I can’t unlock my phone. I had the internal memory encrypted and every time I put in the password it says its incorrect and I have 10 more tries until memory is erased. Even when I put it in incorrectly it still says I have 10 more attempts. Tried to do a hard reset but apparently you can’t if you have the fast boot option active.
