Moto X and Moto Hint preorders begin Tuesday, more Moto 360 stock coming as well

Motorola didn’t say much about the new Moto X’s availability when it announced the device earlier this month, but thankfully we won’t have to wait long to get the refreshed flagship in our hands.

Motorola just revealed that it’ll begin taking preorders for the new Moto X on Tuesday, September 16. Both the AT&T Moto X and Moto X – Pure Edition will be available on that date. The Moto X – Pure Edition is an unlocked, unbranded model that includes an unlockable bootloader.

Also rolling out on Tuesday is an updated Moto Maker customization tool. It’ll include leather and wood finishes, a “photo realistic” rendering engine that Motorola says will let you get a better preview of your device and some new tools that’ll allow you to compare several Moto X designs side-by-side and check out looks that are curated by designers.

Along with the new Moto X, Motorola will start taking orders for the Moto Hint and Motorola Turbo Charger on Tuesday. And just in case you’ve still got some money burning a hole in your pocket after all of that, Motorola also plans to replenish its stock of Moto 360 units on September 16. The company cautions that “quantities will be limited,” so you’ll want to have your clinking finger and credit card ready to go.

Are you planning on picking up any of Motorola’s new hardware on Tuesday?

I wonder will the “Pure” edition only work for AT&T or while it work for both AT&T & T-Mobile’s 4G/LTE bands like the original Moto X unlocked version because they aren’t really being specific. Nor are they saying is this “Pure” edition the 32GB or 16GB model, and if it’s the 16GB model, what’s the cost of the 32GB “Pure” edition.
