Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 Nook 10.1

In today’s list of terribly-named devices, we have the latest collaboration from Samsung and Barnes & Noble, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 Nook 10.1. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 Nook 10.1 is essentially a Galaxy Tab 4, but with a new UI from Barnes & Noble. Barnes & Noble says that the UI is designed for peak reading and entertainment, but it mainly just points you in the direction of where to buy movies and books.

The Galaxy Tab 4 Nook 10.1 features a 10.1-inch 1280×800 display, 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon processor, 1.5GB RAM and Android 4.4 KitKat with Barnes & Noble’s software overlay. Barnes & Noble is now selling the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 Nook 10.1 online and in over 650 stores across the nation. You can pick one up for yourself for $299 and Barnes & Noble says that over $200 of free content including books, movies and magazines has been bundled with the device.
