Samsung looks to be preparing a variant of the Galaxy S5 for a larger rollout in the world. The Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus has showed up on Samsung’s website in the Netherlands and it appears that Samsung may be gearing up for a larger rollout of this variant. The Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus is the same device as the Samsung Galaxy S5 4G+ that launched in Singapore earlier this year. What’s the difference between this model and the standard Galaxy S5? It all comes down to the processor.
The Galaxy S5 Plus features a 2.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon 805 processor that will offer a performance boost over the Snapdragon 801 found in the standard Galaxy S5. This new processor also supports faster LTE speeds of up to 225Mbps, making it great for areas with LTE Advanced networks. Pair that with the usual Galaxy S5 hardware such as the 5.1-inch 1080p AMOLED display and 16-megapixel camera and you’ve got yourself a solid device.
