Vertu teams up with Bentley for the Vertu Bentley Signature Touch

Vertu Bentley Signature Touch

If you’ve got an extra 10 or 20 thousand dollars sitting around and are thinking that it’s about time for a new phone, Vertu, the luxury British smartphone manufacturer, has a new option for you. The Vertu Bentley Signature Touch is the result of a five-year partnership between Vertu and Bentley. Yes, the luxury auto manufacturer Bentley. In case you wanted the full lap of luxury in a smartphone, you can now have two incredible companies working on it.

The phone is quite similar to the existing Vertu Signature Touch that launched a few months back. The difference comes in the design, which has a tweaked earpiece, revised calf leather and a new titanium section on the back. Other than that, the phone features the same 4.7-inch 1080p display, 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, 13-megapixel camera and solidly-constructed body with steel frame.

It is a shame, however, that they took out the Bang & Olufsen speakers and replaced them with mere Dolby Digital Plus speakers. Pricing is still unknown, but since the original Vertu Signature Touch cost $10,000 and this one has a Bentley badge, we’d guess that it would be significantly more.
