HTC One (M8) discounted to $299 as this week’s HTC Hot Deal

HTC Hot Deals is back with an incredible price on the HTC One (M8). HTC is slashing the price of the One (M8) to $299, but there is a catch: you have to be one of the first 200 people to complete your purchase  in order to secure the $299 price.

If you’re not one of the first 200, HTC does have a consolation prize. Customers 201 through 500 can purchase the HTC One (M8) for $499, which is roughly $80-$150 cheaper than the usual off-contract price of the phone. The promotion will allow you to choose between the US unlocked HTC One (M8) or a Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile or Sprint-branded model.

The HTC One (M8) flash sale kicks off in 15 minutes (12pm EST) and runs for 12 hours, but we have a feeling that the all 500 of the HTC One (M8)’s will be sold in less than an hour. If you want to get your hands on one, we recommend you have your credit card ready and multiple browsers fired up. After multiple glitches during last week’s sale of the Nexus 9, HTC has promised a better experience this time around.

Ready. Set. GO!

Bummer. I was hoping for another 50% off on of their plastic, flimsy, bendy, Nexus 9s with black bars around the apps

black bars around apps? I’ve been using the Nexus 9 for 2 weeks now and have never seen black bars while using apps.
