LG G3 shows off its new Blue Steel duds on Best Buy’s website

We often see device makers refresh their flagship hardware with new colors several months after its launch in order to drum up some more interest in it. Today that’s what LG and the U.S. carriers have done with the G3.

The LG G3 Blue Steel is now live on Best Buy’s website. The device actually looks a bit purple to us, but oh well. The Blue Steel version of the LG G3 will be available on AT&T, Sprint and Verizon for $99.99 on a two-year contract. Right now all three models are listed as “Coming Soon.”

It’s kind of a bummer for early LG G3 adopters that this new Blue Steel model is coming out now, but anyone that’s in the market for a new flagship smartphone for the holidays might want to look into it. It gives the LG G3 a bit of color, but it’s not quite as ostentatious as that Shiny Gold variant.
