After a delay in its launch of the Nexus 6, T-Mobile is now facing a delay in its launch of the HTC Nexus 9 LTE. The flagship Lollipop tablet was slated to launch on T-Mobile’s Underground site this month, but has been postponed indefinitely. The news has been revealed by a leaked internal communication that TmoNews got a hold of. The message itself reads:
Update: The launch of the Google Nexus 9 has been postponed. This article will be updated with the launch date once it is confirmed.
T-Mobile will launch the Google Nexus 9 on a date to be determined, which will be available on the web or through Ship-to (Direct Fulfillment) in HSO. This HTC device features a beautiful 8.9″ screen and a 64-bit 2.3GHz dual processor.T-Mobile
Right now, things aren’t looking promising for those who want to get a T-Mobile Nexus 9 before Christmas. Things could line up to get it out before Christmas, but we wouldn’t advise counting on it. All in all, this is a disappointing bit of news, but hopefully T-Mobile can get it resolved soon. It could end up being something as simple as a delayed shipment or lack of inventory.
