Lollipop starts rolling out to Motorola Moto G in the US and India

Motorola Moto G owners, today’s your lucky day. Well, at least some of you. Motorola has announced via Twitter that starting today, Lollipop will start hitting the first generation Moto G in India and the second generation Moto G in India and the U.S.

The update will be hitting handsets in phases, so if you don’t see it right away, don’t fret. It’s coming soon. Since Motorola isn’t keen on messing with Google’s vision for Android, once you do receive the update you’re in for a clean, fast, gorgeous Material Design-coated treat. Lucky you.

In other Motorola related updated news, Republic Wireless is readying updates for all of its Moto phones. The Republic Wireless Moto E and Moto G are being updated to 4.4.4 soon, with the first generation Moto X following in February. Lollipop is coming to all of Republic’s Motorola phones before too long it’s just not quite ready yet. We will be sure to let you know when it is.

If your device starts rebooting randomly after installing lollipop remove Facebook. It’s buggy on lollipop. And send Facebook a message to fix their app.
