Do you dig the all-metal construction of Samsung’s Galaxy A3 and Galaxy A5, but you’d prefer something a bit more high-end? Sammy’s got what you need.
The Samsung Galaxy A7 features a body that’s 6.3mm thick and has a metal unibody construction. Packed inside of that full metal frame is the following features:
- 5.5-inch HD Super AMOLED display
- Octa-core processor (according to SamMobile, the single SIM model is a 32-bit Exynos 5430, while the dual SIM is a 64-bit Snapdragon 615)
- 13-megapixel rear camera
- 5-megapixel front camera
- 16GB of storage
- microSD card slot
- 2GB of RAM
- 2600mAh battery
- 4G LTE connectivity
- Android 4.4
- Software features that include Wide Selfie, Rear-cam Selfie, Beauty Face Features, Ultra Power Saving Mode, Changeable Theme, Private Mode, and more
The Galaxy A7 is said to be launching toward the end of Q1 2015 for €509, or around $600 USD.
While the Galaxy A7 isn’t quite as high-end as Samsung flagships like the Galaxy S5 or Galaxy Note 4, it does have a competitive spec list that’s packed inside of a metal unibody construction. Samsung’s Galaxy A3 and Galaxy A5 phones look and feel pretty good, so the Galaxy A7 could be nice for anyone that like those devices but wants something a bit beefier (in the spec department, that is).
