Motorola is updating the Moto 360 to Android 5.0.2

Motorola is now rolling out an update to the Moto 360 that contains Android 5.0.2. The update is small, mostly comprised of bug fixes. Motorola says that the update contains an updated version of Google Play Services and a host of security updates, bug fixes and system optimizations that will improve performance and stability. The update is required and will be rolling out over the next few days. At least an 80 percent charge on the Moto 360 is needed in order to complete the update.

While the update to Android 5.0.2 may not be large, it shows that Motorola is dedicated to keeping its products up to date. The Moto 360 has likely been the most popular of the Android Wear devices and has garnered plenty of favorable reviews. If you’re in the market for an Android Wear device, the Moto 360 is one that has a beautiful design and software that’s kept up to date.
