The Samsung Galaxy S 4 in Russia may have already got a taste of Android 5.0 Lollipop recently, but for Verizon subscribers with a Galaxy S5 at their disposal, the latest version of Android is now headed your way.

Verizon Wireless has confirmed that it has begun an over the air update for Android 5.0 Lollipop to its branded variant of the Galaxy S5. The software build number is LRX21T.G900VVRUBNLC. I got mine, it didn’t push through I requested it. It took awhile, they must have been flooded, because after part 1 it wouldn’t connect me to get part 2. So far it has been pretty good.

This has to be the fastest Verizon has gotten their updates out. Bodes well.
