Android 5.0 Lollipop continues its rollout, and another Samsung-branded smartphone is the latest addition to the ranks.
On Tuesday, March 24, AT&T confirmed that its variant of the Galaxy Note 4 will begin receiving the over the air (OTA) update of Android 5.0 today. The update itself weighs in at just over 1GB, so Galaxy Note 4 owners should be aware of the hefty download that awaits them to get the new software on their handset. The big blue carrier’s changelog for the software update is pretty straightforward:
Android 5.0 (Lollipop)
- Find My Mobile
- Reactivation lock
While the changelog might not be extensive, the update to Android 5.0 for the Galaxy Note 4 is surely worthwhile to owners. It means you’ll get access to all of the Material Design goodness that is incorporated with the software and an update to notifications as well. If you’re connected to a Wi-Fi network, head into Settings > About device > Software update > Check for updates and keep your fingers crossed, as these rollouts can sometimes take a bit of time to land on every device out there.
