Sonos app update makes the best whole home audio system even better

There is no shortage of players in the wireless speaker market these days, but as far as whole home systems go, Sonos remains the virtually undisputed champion, and its latest app update represents another leap forward for them in terms of convenience.

One of the major benefits you are looking for with a whole home system is the ability to easily move your music around the house, and with this 5.3 update, Sonos has added the ability to access the room controls from the top of every screen in the app so you can group and ungroup rooms quicker than ever.

If you regret your last song choice, you can simply swipe down in the Now Playing screen to jump back into your music library and get on to something better in a hurry.

Another welcome change to the Now Playing screen is that the track progression bar has been made much more accessible at the bottom so you can easily jump back or forward as necessary in the audio.

If you already have a Sonos system, you should update the app immediately. And if you have been considering a whole home audio system, the decision just got even easier.

Sonos sound system is the best solution for your home. Period.

The Sonos app (was already using the beta version) has become the perfect companion for the speaker.

I really like the room selection at the top of the window. Well done.
