Apparently HTC and T-Mobile just couldn’t wait until March 10 to treat their One M7-toting customers to a Lollipop.
The T-Mobile version of the HTC One M7 is now getting its Android 5.0 update, a full day before it was expected to. The update weighs in at a hefty 729.59MB and includes the following tweaks:
- Android 5.0 Lollipop update
- Lock screen and Notification: New Lollipop UI style with enhanced privacy features
- Recent apps: Supporting multiple pages
- Addition of search function within settings
It’s exciting to see the update rolling out early, even if it is only one day, because most everyone that’s not already on Lollipop wants to be. And when you want a shiny new update, you’ve gotta have it as soon as possible. If you’ve got a T-Mobile One M7 and you haven’t already pulled this update, you can check for it by going into Settings > About phone > Software update > Check for updates.
