Verizon decks out the DROID Turbo in Sapphire Blue Ballistic Nylon

Verizon has a new color option available for the DROID Turbo and it certainly looks sharp. The new option is named Sapphire Blue Ballistic Nylon, which is expanded notation for blue. To be fair, though, it’s a pretty neat looking color. The edges are a medium metallic blue while the back has a darker blue ballistic nylon. Rounding off the appearance is an electric blue for the camera ring and DROID logo.

The new color option should make some pull the trigger on the DROID Turbo. In terms of specs, the DROID Turbo still remains a champion with a 5.2-inch QHD (2560×1440) display, 2.7GHz quad-core Snapdragon 805 processor, 3GB RAM, 32/64GB storage, 21-megapixel rear camera, 2-megapixel front-facing camera, 3900mAh battery and Android 4.4.4 KitKat, with an update to Lollipop coming soon.

The new color option is now available in stores and online for $199.99 with a two-year contract.

Wasn’t this a Best Buy exclusive colour already for awhile?

Yeah it was except they added some sapphire to the camera and logo. The funniest part is Android lollipop soon … I’d guess mid April… You’d think Motorola faster nope! lol
