Early Galaxy S6 sales double those of Galaxy S5 on T-Mobile

T-Mobile got off to an early start with the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge with pre-orders shipping starting March 27th, and that has proven to be a great move, as the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge are both flying off the shelves at a rate of almost double that of the Galaxy S5 during its first 10 days last year.

Now to be sure, some of this is T-Mobile’s rising profile, but they also reported that the HTC One M9 has merely sold better than the One M8 in its first 10 days of availability. Now that’s hardly bad news for HTC, but obviously the One M9 hasn’t garnered quite the same love as the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge.

T-Mobile didn’t offer any information on what the breakdown was between the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 edge, which would be interesting to know in light of Samsung’s warning that the S6 edge will be in short supply.

Have any of you picked up the Galaxy S6 or S6 edge on T-Mobile already? Marco shared his early impressions last week; what are you thinking of the device after about a week with it?
