Google has announced that it will be updating its Google Calendar Android app to bring back Month view, among other improvements. Google pushed out a major update to Google Calendar last fall that ushered in Material Design and entirely revamped the app. While the change was greeted positively, many users were surprised to find that Google had removed the Month view that had previously been a part of the app. The longest span of time to view was restricted to a week, making it hard to plan ahead.
Over the next few days, however, a new update will be pushed to the Google Calendar Android app that will bring back Month view as well as enabling you to see the color of events when you jump to a date and providing easy access to changing the spans of time via the navigation drawer. We know that we’re not the only ones looking forward to the return of Month view, and we certainly won’t complain about the other improvements.
The update will be rolling out over the next few days, so it may take a little while to receive it.
