ZTE has launched its Innovation Venture Fund for growing mobile companies

This morning, ZTE launched its Innovation Venture Fund, an opportunity that aims to assist growing mobile companies. The Innovation Venture Fund is a chance for new mobile companies to apply for funding, equity and a partnership with ZTE. ZTE’s goal is to find and partner with five to ten growing mobile companies that can help them to bring innovative technology and smarter ideas to the mobile market.

There are some criteria for the Innovation Venture Fund. First of all, the company must be based in North America, this won’t be available to companies based in other countries. The companies must also be focused on mobile innovation in particular hardware and software, and their product must work with at least one ZTE device. Additionally, the company must have a product that has already been built and launched, this isn’t for concepts. Finally, the company must be at the seed round investing stage or, at a maximum, Series A stage.
