Oppo has introduced two new devices that place an emphasis on specs. The first is the Oppo R7 Plus, a 6-inch phone with a 1080p AMOLED display, 1.5GHz octa-core Snapdragon 615 processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage plus microSD card slot, dual-nano SIM ports, 13-megapixel rear camera with laser autofocus, 8-megapixel front-facing camera, fingerprint scanner, Android 5.1 Lollipop and a massive 4100mAh battery with Oppo’s Rapid VOOC charging.
The Oppo R7 is the smaller brother and features a lot of identical specs. Changes can be found with the 5-inch 1080p AMOLED display, 16GB of storage with microSD card slot, lack of laser autofocus and fingerprint sensor and Android 4.4 KitKat. An update to Lollipop is expected as the later-launching R7 Plus will ship with it this summer.
The Oppo R7 will launch in China tomorrow 2,499 yuan, or about $400 USD. The Oppo R7 Plus won’t launch until August and will be priced at 2,999 yuan, or about $480 USD. Both phones will feature international launches, with the R7 launching internationally in June.
