OnePlus 2 will cost less than $450, says CEO

As OnePlus has been trickling out details of the OnePlus 2 in recent weeks, there’s been one question on the minds of a lot of mobile fans: How much is the thing going to cost? OnePlus still hasn’t revealed the answer to that question, but now we’ve got a better idea of how the OnePlus 2 will be priced.

OnePlus CEO Pete Lau promises that the OnePlus 2 will cost less than $450 USD. He added that “it’s never been about the price” in regards to OnePlus and its smartphones.

In its response to the Snapdragon 810 overheating concerns, OnePlus said that the OnePlus 2 will cost more than $322. So with today’s info, we know that OnePlus’s next flagship Android phone will cost between $322 and $450. That’s more than the OnePlus One, which launched at $299 and $349 for the 16GB and 64GB models, but it’s still a good bit less than most other flagship smartphones.
