Sprint customers, a new Android 5.1 phone is headed your way.
The Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime will arrive at Sprint this Friday, July 10, with Android 5.1 Lollipop in tow. Pricing for the Galaxy Grand Prime will be set at $0 down and 24 payments of $10 each, $29.99 with a two-year contract and $50 mail-in rebate, or $240 without a commitment.
Here are the specs that you can expect to get when buying a Galaxy Grand Prime:
- 5-inch qHD (960×540) display
- 1.2GHz quad-core processor
- 8GB of storage
- microSD card slot
- 8-megapixel rear camera with flash
- 5-megapixel front camera with wide angle lens
- Bluetooth 4.0
- 4G LTE, Sprint Spark connectivity
- Removable 2600mAh battery
- Android 5.1
The Galaxy Grand Prime’s specs aren’t mind-blowing, but not every phone can be a Galaxy S6. For Sprint customers that want a new Android phone that’s affordable and made by a company that they’ve probably heard of, the Galaxy Grand Prime is one option. And the fact that it comes with Android 5.1 out of the box is a nice perk.
