The LG G4 is fresh off its entrance into the market, but an upcoming variant of the device has already leaked out. The LG G4 S is looking to be a mid-range option for those who want the looks and some of the specs of the G4, but don’t need quite the flagship power it provides. As such, this rumored G4 S is looking to have a 5.2-inch 1080p display with In-Cell Touch for faster response, 1.5GHz octa-core processor and an 8-megapixel rear camera with laser autofocus and a dual-LED flash.
While it’s certainly on the higher end for a mid-range phone, it seems that the mid-range audience is LG’s target with the G4 S. The phone features an identical design to the G4, though with a slightly smaller body thanks to the reduced screen size. LG is aiming for a launch in the second half of July, with the G4 S being priced lower than the G4 so as to attract more budget-minded customers.
