Google Maps adds stickers for labeling places

Google Maps

One of the very helpful features of Google Maps is to allow users to set addresses for home and work. This enables Google Maps to provide users with real-time estimates on how long their commute will be, making it easier to remain on time. With the service’s latest update, Google is expanding and improving this feature by allowing greater functionality and further customization.

Now when setting home and work addresses, users of Google Maps can add stickers to make it a little more personal. Additionally, Google has expanded the labeling functionality to any location that users may choose. For example, users can add a label to their school or gym and receive real-time info on traffic conditions, directions and the best route available. All in all, a small but useful boost in the functionality of Google Maps.
