Google Allo arrives with wide array of features

After a lengthy wait, Google Allo is now available for download on Android and iOS. Google’s new messaging app combines a myriad of features into a single, smart experience that’s designed to make messaging faster, easier, and more advanced. The notable feature of Allo is the inclusion of the Google Assistant and the smart replies that accompany it. Google Assistant can analyze text, photos, links and more to determine a suitable reply.

Additionally, users can interact with Google Assistant. The possibilities are vast, ranging from a simple request for information to asking Google to send a joke or poem on a daily basis. The software becomes more intelligent the more you use it, allowing it to better cater to your needs.

If the other features aren’t enough, Allo offers encryption of all messages, although Google will still have access to the messages in order to make Google Assistant work. To hide things entirely, there’s an Incognito Mode that eliminates the Google Assistant features, but gives users end-to-end encryption, discreet notifications and expiring messages.

Allo is now available for download on Android and iOS and will roll out globally over the next few days.
