With less than a week until the launch of the G6, LG isn’t slowing down on teasing the device. Several of the phone’s features have already been revealed, and LG is now offering details on the camera of the G6. The G6 will feature dual 13-megapixel rear cameras, one with a standard lens and one with a 125-degree wide-angle lens. The wide-angle push doesn’t end there, as the front of the device will feature a camera with a 100-degree wide-angle lens.
The focus on camera performance extends to the software, where LG is including a variety of special features. With the 18:9 aspect ratio of the G6′s display, LG is able to offer a new camera mode that will show users their recent photos alongside the camera as they’re taking them. Additional features include the ability to take 1:1 photos that are instantly ready for Instagram, a 360 Panorama Mode, selfie filters and an easy-to-use GIF creator. Users can also use the device’s 18:9 aspect ratio to utilize an immersive camera experience that fills the display from corner-to-corner.
LG will official the reveal on February 26. Stay tuned for further coverage.
