Samsung won’t sell refurbished Galaxy Note 7 units in the U.S.

There has been a lot of back-and-forth going on when it comes to refurbished Galaxy Note 7 units, but it turns out Samsung does indeed have a plan.

According to Reuters, Samsung does not plan to sell or rent any refurbished Galaxy Note 7 units in the United States. Samsung “will not be offering refurbished Galaxy Note 7 devices for rent or sale in the U.S.”, the company said

Samsung will sell refurbished units in some other regions around the globe, but exactly where the phones will be available isn’t known at this point.

The Galaxy Note 7 lineup faced recalls before Samsung was forced to pull the flagship phablet from the market altogether. Samsung later confirmed that the Galaxy Note 7 was plagued by two separate battery issues.
