OnePlus has a new flagship on the way, following the success of the OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T last year. We know that it will be called the OnePlus 5, but we haven’t heard anything about specifications just yet. However, OnePlus is taking a page out of its playbook from last year and it’s starting to tease certain aspects of the upcoming device. That begins today with the camera.
OnePlus has announced that it’s working with DxO on the OnePlus 5 camera. That will more than likely give OnePlus a big leg up to create a great camera, considering the years of imaging experience that DxO has.
DxO probably sounds familiar. They created DxOMark, which is a benchmark for photography, including professional cameras and smartphones. Google promoted the DxOMark score that the Pixel received for its camera last year during its unveiling.
OnePlus’s decision to work with DxO on its next flagship’s built-in camera is an interesting one, and it will be exciting to see what that partnership actually puts together.
Are you looking forward to the OnePlus 5?
