ZTE Axon 7 update adds support for 256GB microSD cards and more

The ZTE Axon 7 has been available for a bit now, but ZTE continues to roll out updates for its smartphone.

ZTE confirmed the new software is being sent out now, putting the Axon 7 on version B25. The update includes a variety of new additions, including support for 256GB microSD cards and Night Mode. Up to this point, the Axon 7 only supported microSD cards up to 128GB, so the wait is over for folks wanting a bit more space on their device.

The update also includes bug fixes and other behind-the-scenes performance improvements. Here are the official changes, as announced by ZTE:

  • Enables “Night Mode” setting
  • Supports 256GB microSD cards
  • Allows users to disable some stock apps
  • Optimizes the “Do Not Disturb” function
  • Fixes various Wi-Fi Calling issues
  • Improves device stability and security
  • Miscellaneous performance improvements and other fixes

If you own the Axon 7, keep an eye out for the OTA update. Do you have a 256GB microSD card you plan on utilizing now?
