Earlier this year, three Nokia-branded Android phones launched, including the Nokia 6. Each device was decidedly mid-range, but Nokia and HMD Global have been promising something a bit more high-end. That device may have just been revealed thanks to VentureBeat, which is showing off the Nokia 8, a sleek handset with curved edges.
According to the report, the Nokia 8 may be revealed on July 31 with Android 7.1.1 Nougat. The rumor mill has also suggests that the Nokia 8 will boast a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, a QHD display that’ll measure in at 5.3 inches, and either 4GB or 6GB of RAM. There will also apparently be two 13-megapixel cameras on the back with Carl Zeiss optics.
If that launch date is true, then we don’t have long to wait before we see if the Nokia 8 is what the flagship-seeking fans have been waiting for. Based on the looks, though, what do you think?
